This policy explains what data this site collects — and in practice it collects very little.

01Who we are
Freedomica is a collective of independent engineers based in Tokyo and Hong Kong. We are responsible for this website and for the data described below.
02Data we do not collect
This site has no visitor sign-up or login. We do not ask for payment details and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking tools. The only form is the one on the contact page, described below, and every field beyond name, email and message is optional.
03The contact form
When you submit the form we store what you filled in — name, email, company, project type, budget and the message — in our database on our own server, so that we can reply. We also store a code derived from your IP address, from which the address cannot be recovered, used only to limit automated submissions.
We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver the notification to our team, the confirmation you receive and our reply. In doing so your email address and the contents of your message pass through Resend’s servers, as they would with any email provider. We keep messages for as long as the conversation is relevant and delete them when you ask.
04Data the site does store
We store a single technical cookie, "locale", holding the language you chose (pt, en or es) so your next visit opens in the same language. It does not identify you and is not shared.
05Server logs
Our hosting provider automatically records technical data for each request — IP address, browser type, page requested and timestamp — for security and diagnostics. These logs are generated by the infrastructure, kept for a short period and are not used to build profiles.
06Third-party services
Fonts are served from the site itself, not from Google. If you click our WhatsApp or Telegram links, the conversation is then governed by those platforms’ own privacy policies.
07When you contact us
If you reach us by phone, WhatsApp, Telegram or email, we keep the conversation and whatever you tell us about the project solely to reply and, if we proceed, to carry out the work. We do not sell or share that information.
08Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of any data we hold about you, and you can clear the language cookie at any time in your browser settings. To exercise these rights, use any of the channels on the contact page.
09Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the revision date at the top.
